Brothers & Sisters,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Brother Mark D Terpstra “Terp” passed away on Friday afternoon (March 15, 2019) from pneumonia complications. He had been battling it for about a month from our understanding. He leaves behind his wife, Jennifer and his 14 year old son, Nathan. Brother Terpstra was only 54 years old at the time of his passing.

For those of you who don’t know, Mark was the President of BLET 13 for three years and a very active member in the  La Crosse area. He was Fest Master for the Octoberfest Torchlight Parade a few years back. Mark was a great friend to many WWAFLCIO council members and a mentor to current WWAFLCIO President Tyler Tubbs. Tyler sites Mark as the one that got him involved with BLET 13 also encouraging him become an active member the local AFL-CIO council (WWAFLCIO). Mark will be greatly missed!

Mark was a former delete to the WWAFLCIO as well.

The funeral services for Brother Mark Terpstra will be at 1100 on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Christ Episcopal Church, 111 N. 9th Street, La Crosse. A visitation will be from 09:30 am until time of service.
