Join us for our La Crosse area Labor Day celebration

(other Wisconsin celebrations listed after details for the La Crosse event – so if you’re somewhere else in Wisconsin mosey down to your nearest celebration)

Labor Day the day to recognize and honor the achievements of all of America’s working people. Celebrate with your union brothers and sisters and all working families around the state at events hosted by the local Labor Council.

Monday, September 3
Copeland Park
1130 Copeland Park Drive 
Events start at 10:00 a.m. with a ten-block family-friendly parade beginning at the intersection of Gillette Street and Kane Street. After the parade, festivities will move to Copeland Park with BINGO games, 50/50 raffles and other activities. Soda, beer, brats, and snacks will be offered for sale. For the Kids – sawdust piles with hidden money & plenty of fresh air, and a kids fishing pond!

Two same day raffle drawings at 1:15pm. (need to be present to win)

Schedule:
10:00 am -11:00 am Parade
11 am – 2:30 pm
– Brats, Hot Dogs, & Chips will be on sale
– Kul, Kul Lite, & Kul Premium beer, & Pepsi products for sale (union made). Beverages sold by the WW AFL CIO.

Summerfest Grounds
Parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m. from Zeidler Union Square, 301 W. Michigan St. Milwaukee, WI 53203. Parade will end at Labor Fest from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Summerfest Grounds at 200 N. Harbor Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53202. Free admission for the whole family.

Wausau Labor Day Picnic and Car Show
Monday, September 3
3rd Ave., Wausau
4:00 p.m.

Line up for parade starts at 3:00 p.m. along West Wausau Ave. from Cherry St. to 3rd Ave. Parade starts at 4:00 p.m. on the corner of West Wausau Ave. and 3rd Ave., continues down 3rd Ave and ends at the Wausau Labor Temple, 318 S. 3rd Ave.

Fond du Lac Labor Day Parade and Picnic
Monday Sept. 3
11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Lakeside Park: 555 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI

Parade line up is at 9:30 a.m. and the Parade starts at 11:00 a.m., beginning at Rees and Main Street traveling north on Main Street past Scott Street. The picnic at Oven Island at Lakeside Park begins at noon and ends at 5:00 p.m.
